Temporary Suspension of Shipments to the USA

Hi bikers,

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that several international postal companies have decided to temporarily suspend their shipments to the United States. Since we rely on postal delivery, we are forced to follow this decision.

The reason?  Trump has announced new import tariffs effective August 29, 2025. However, the exact legislation and communication around this are currently very unclear. Despite an additional update on August 15, which was supposed to provide clarity, there is still no clear global process on how parcels must be correctly submitted. This could result in packages being held at the border, returned, significantly delayed, or even lost in the chaos.

What this means in practice
As of Thursday, August 21, 2025, no shipments to the USA can be booked anymore with our shipping partner Deutsche Post. From Monday, August 25, 2025, we will completely stop sending shipments to the USA.

Parcels that have already been shipped and processed by Deutsche Post come with no guarantee. There is a real risk that they will be returned or delayed.

Alternative
Shipping to the USA via FedEx is still possible. They have already aligned their processes with the new U.S. regulations and will impose a 15% import duty on shipments entering the U.S. from August 29 onward. This will either be charged to the customer upon delivery or through a prepayment request from FedEx.

Unfortunately, we also cannot predict how long this situation will last. We understand this is a drastic decision that heavily affects us as a webshop (thx US admin!), but unfortunately, we have no other option. We all hope that more clarity will come soon so we can return to “normal” shipping to the USA.
